Solving playback issues

My roku express has suddenly started displaying a white screen on my TV. Tried unplugging, a different hdmi cable and port and reset with pin hole,  none of which worked. It recently tried to update but errored every time so I have been choosing update later. Now I can't choose anything as I cannot see the screen! The device light is also now blinking on and off. It does have a good power source.

Thank you, unfortunately neither of these options have helped. I have also reset the device, which also has not helped.
