As with all of these devices that use a USB port for power, make sure you're using the supplied USB power adapter plugged directly into the wall and not the TV's USB port. Surge protectors and some power strips have been known to cause problems for some people as well.
Beyond that, does it seem to get excessively hot? They get pretty warm, but shouldn't be too hot to touch.
