I just unboxed my express 4k+ and followed the set up guidelines provided, however, my tv shows no signal. I have tried using different power outlets, resetting my roku, different HDMI ports and even different cords, and nothing seems to work. My Roku bar is blinking, which to my knowledge means it is not connected to the internet. I have made an account with Roku and cannot connect my device there either because there’s no internet connection to the device. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be super appreciated. I may just have to throw it away
Hi, @Alliehg
Welcome to the Roku Community.
Let's perform the steps and instructions below to resolve any issues regarding the no signal prompt with your Roku device on your TV screen.
Make sure your Roku player is connected directly to the TV. If you have the Roku player connected to an audio/video receiver (AVR) or soundbar, then first disconnect it and connect directly to the TV. This will remove any issue with the AVR or soundbar and make it easier to troubleshoot the problem.
First, make sure the TV is turned on and press a button on the Roku remote control to ensure that the Roku device is not in standby or screensaver mode.
These are the most common reasons you may not see the picture on your TV:
