Roku Ultra seems to turn on, but unresponsive

Roku Ultra suddenly won't function properly. There is no audio or video. Power cycled the Roku, still nothing.

The power light comes on (white), but when I click remote buttons, it doesnt flicker like it normally does.

It seems to be on based on the light, but otherwise is completely in responsive. Never shows a loading screen. I held down the factory reset button for about 20 seconds and nothing happened. It seems to be dead. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Some suggestions….

If you have a mobile device with the Roku app, try that. That would rule out a problem with the remote. (Low batteries, remote is dead)

Unplug the power to the Ultra for close to a minute. You didn’t say how long your power cycle was.

Reseat your HDMI cable, meaning disconnect both ends and reinsert them.

If your TV has two HDMI ports, try the “other” one.

Make sure the TV is set to the correct input.

If none of these fix it, that’s all I can think of at the moment. Hopefully the Roku isn’t DOA.

Try holding the reset button in for no less than 30 seconds.
