I have a new Roku Ultra. Worked fine for several weeks, but this buzzing thing has just started happening. Is there a fix other than unplug/restart workaround?
@Seanmmac @If you just bought then return it. If it’s been over 30 days then it’s covered under warranty for 12 months
I changed out the plug end that USB goes into. And it fixed it
Did anyone firgue out why we having this buzzing noise
Hi @Tacoguy69,
Thanks for reaching out to the Roku Community. We'd like to investigate and try to help.
Can you please provide us with more specific information about the issue you are experiencing? How are you powering the device? Is it plugged into the TV USB port, or is it plugged into the wall outlet with the provided cables? In addition, have you tried using another HDMI port on your TV as well as trying your device on another TV to see if you are seeing the same issue?
With more information, we will be able to assist you further.
Best regards,
Mary
I contacted Roku Support last month about this same issue, and they sent me a replacement Ultra. After a couple of weeks with no problem, it started making the loud clicking sound again when I turn on the TV.
My Ultra is plugged into an outlet using the power cable provided by Roku.
I have tried using another HDMI port on my TV; that did not make any difference.
I cannot try my device on another TV because I only have one TV.
Yes I had the same thing. When I turned on my tv yesterday in the morning I had that loud buzzing again, even after receiving a new device a few months back.
Not sure what to do.
