I have a new LQ75NANO90UPA and a new Roku Ultra. LG insists that all 4 HDMI Inputs are HDCP 2.2 compliant. Input 4 is labeled 4K @ 120hz. The other 3 are simply labeled HDMI. The installer put the Roku on HDMI 2. But we did not set it up.
When I set up the Roku it said the input was not compatible but allowed me to continue and video is much better than on an older non HD capable Roku Express. When I check the connection on the Ultra it says it’s 1080p and HDCP 1.4.
I have a longer cable coming today for another device now in input 4 and will move the Roku to that input later today and see what happens and will report back, but I’m hoping someone has a similar situation and can offer me some advice.
Sorry, meant LG, not LQ.
I promised to follow up.
I moved the Direct Tv to HDMI 2 and the Roku to HDMI 4. That resolved the problem. So, even though LG says all 4 HDMI are HDCP 2.2 compliant, that seems not to be the case. So, my display on the Roku thru HDMI 4 says 4K and HDCP 2.2.
Fantastic video quality.
Thanks for reporting back. I wish more people did that.
Glad things worked out for you.
my device(Roku 4800X) works fine for about 3/4of the way through a 4k Dolby Vision then the dreadful HDCP screen pops up for about 3 seconds. All is fine for about 10 more minutes and then it pops up again. I have done EVERYTHING posted by Roku engineers and NO FIX! My AVR is a Denon and states HDCP 2.2 in the specks. My LG OLED also shows 2.2 and HDR set up. ALL MY HDMI cables are HD 4K HIGH SPEED ETHERNET. My only cable running from my TV (ARC) is a 4k-8k HDMI printed on it DOLBY VISION and DOLBY ATMOS and was very expensive. How has Roku decided to solve this annoying and on going problem!
Ps here are my specks

Thanks for the post.
If you connect your Roku device directly to your TV and not through the AVR, do you experience the same HDCP error?
Please keep us posted what you find out.
Thanks,
