Solving playback issues

I just got a new Roku Ultra 4800R from Best Buy and successfully got it set up and working well. One minor problem I notice is that the display will go black then return with "Dolby Vision" in the top right corner. This happens about every minute or so. 

I'm connected to a Sony XBR-65X900F. All of my software is up to date. 

Is there any additional information I need to provide to help?

Well its probably confused with Auto detect in display settings

You can juggle the settings in Settings/Display type

Im good with 1080p

i have the same problem with my,Roku ultra,tired of screen flickering while streaming but noticed its happening when i am watching,Prime video!

I returned it to Best Buy and picked up another. Same problem. Back it goes. I will stick with my older 4670X. 

I could never get my external 3TB Western Digital drive recognized by any of the 3 4800R's I bought recently (1 from Amazon, 2 from Best Buy).

The old 4670X recognizes the external drive. And doesn't flicker. 🙂
