First post. I have three (3) Roku Streaming Stick +'s in my home. Recently they have started requiring a reboot (having to disconnect power) daily. I havent made any changes. This started about 1 week ago.
Current software version is 10.0.04198.
Anyone else having this issue and know how to fix?
Hi @Clemson91
Thanks for the post.
Could you tell us how your Roku Streaming Stick+ is powered? Is it connected to the USB port of the TV or to a wall outlet? In some cases, the USB power provided by the TV is not sufficient to power the device. Even though your Roku device may appear to be working, running with insufficient power can lead to instability, crashing, and other unpredictable behavior.
Using the included power cord and power adapter, we suggest plugging your Roku into a working power outlet in the wall. Powering it through a power outlet in the wall has the additional advantage that your Roku player will not need to power up every time you turn on your TV. This means your Roku player will be up and running faster than it would be connected to a TV.
Let us know how it goes!
All the best,
Kariza
Kariza - the Streaming Stick + is (and always has been) powered via an outlet. Not using USB power.
Stick actually freezes up regularly (for the past 1.5 weeks) requiring a reset or disconnecting power. It's not the remote because it still turns the TV on and can adjust the volume. When the stick freezes, the remote cannot move around or make on screen selections.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
Thanks for following up, @Clemson91

I've had same problems. Also connected to outlet. Frequently errs out mid program whether watching Sling, Amazon, Hulu etc.
Roku sending me a new stick plus but this is my 3rd replacement!!
I have the same problem. For a year it worked perfectly, now, it goes to "low power" indication after about 10 minutes. I never use the USB port on the TV, always plugged it into a wall socket. Our house is new, and all the power is standard 115V AC. This thing should work, but it doesn't. And this is the second one that has had that problem. I had the first one for a long time, and thought it was just dead, so I bought a new one...same problem.
What's going on?

Hey @BigJohnO
Thanks for letting us know about the issue you're experiencing.
Have you tried following the all suggestions in this FAQ: What should I do if the red light is flashing or I see a "low-power" warning?
If yes and the issue persists, please reply here with the Roku device serial number. It can be found by either navigating to Settings > System > About or at the back of the stick.
We'll keep an eye out for your reply.
All the best,
Kariza
I just started having the same issues with two of my ROKU sticks. It started to require daily rebooting since last week. I have no time for this. What is going on?
Thanks
