Roku Streambar Pro | 4K/HD/HDR Streaming cuts out, freezes

Bought Roku Streambar Pro | 4K/HD/HDR last year. While streaming, the programs started to freeze and when restarting the volume takes awhile to restart.  Today a Netflix movie stopped and roku words started scrolling across the screen. Each time it happened we had to restart with the remote. These events aren't precipitated by anything specific but are happening more often. 

Roku....is there a fix, is this product defective?

"Roku words" start raining down the screen when the video is paused and the screensaver activates.  Could that be what's happening?  Try taking the batteries out of the remote to see if it still happens.
