Roku Express keeps crashing and displaying "no signal", won't turn back on

I recently decided to upgrade my old Roku Express with a new one, and from the start, it would sometimes crash all together and my TV would display "no signal". It would then be 30-60 minutes before it would turn back on. It began to happen more and more often until it essentially became unusable. Nothing will stream for more than about 10 minutes before it would crash again. I have tried adjusting all of the connections, as well as unplugging and plugging the unit back in, all to no effect. I am also plugging into the wall outlet with the USB adapter that came with the unit. This is frustrating because this was supposed to be an upgrade! Please help!
