I have 2 Roku 4's and a recently purchased Roku streaming stick to help fill the void that was left after one of my Roku 4's decided to stop working. Apart from the Stick(a complete waste of money, My Old 486 laptop has faster wifi connectivity) Both 4's have been brilliant until last month, when I experienced a power cut(The 2nd Roku4 is working perfectly fine) This, seems tipped Roku1 over the edge, it since, has been unable to start up properly. I have a constant flashing blue light once power goes it, as if it's looping? it doesn't get as far as the dancing logo either. I've tried all the rebooting suggestions, swapping the PSU and as I don't use a micros SD card with it, nothing needs to be removed there. Also tried leaving it for weeks without starting it, hence the Roku Stick! Any sensible suggestions are gratefully appreciated!
I have this same problem now, from a power outage. Now it's in and endless reboot cycle... I've left it unplugged for 2 days, and then went to plug it back in without Ethernet cable connected (just in case), and still and endless reboot cycle... what did you do?
I tried continually rebooting, manually resetting, various firmware reboots and leaving it unplugged for weeks in the hope it might do something, Nothing worked. I ended up buying a Nvidia Shield TV 2019, I wished i done this ages ago! Definitely the best choice, with its 4K, and Dolby Atmos and its speed leaves Roku 4 standing.
good luck
