Not really my issue, but close enough.
I have a ROKU 1 and want to route it through my Toshiba digital recorder (DR430KU). The recorder will capture audio, but no video. I prefer the ROKU 1 because it has both, HDMI and RCA jacks.
To watch ROKU television, I have the set connected directly to the TV via HDMI.
To record on the digital recorder, I have connected it to the DR via RCA jacks.
I know the DR is working because it plays back fine when a pre-recorded disk is played. Just can't get it to record video.
What am I missing?
