Solving playback issues

recently purchased Roku is now emitting a high pitched noise. saw other posts about other devices with similar issue but no fixes worked. tried different HDMI cables, ports, power cable, turn off, resets, audio settings etc.

The noise is coming from the device itself?!  That's a bad device.  You should return it.

Can you please provide the serial number of your Roku device from Settings>System>About as well as additional information regarding the issue of high pitched noise? I'll be able to pass it along to our Support team who can assist you further.

I have to change batteries in my remote like every 6-8 weeks and close to end of life it just stops working completely and make a high pitch squealing noise. I only use the remote for a couple of hours at night. I shouldn’t be going through batteries this fast. I think something is wrong
