Solving playback issues

I was able to play episode #1 of Star Trek Lower Decks, Season one, but episodes 2-10 all give the error message "Error  Unfortunately, an error occurred during playback.  Please Try Again."   I was able to watch season 2 without problem.  My TV is a Roku RV C140X, TCL model 55S435, and has software version 10.5.0 build 4219-93.   Logging out/back in and rebooting didn't seem to help at all.  I'm able to play it on other devices.  Any hints as to what the problem might be?
