The elephant in the room...
Ever since the dispute began between Google and ROKU, we seem to experience frequent Playback Errors on recorded programs. This ONLY occurs on YouTube TV and NO OTHER CHANNELS.
This is really starting to make me ANGRY as WE, the customers, seem to be stuck in the middle of this **bleep**!
What really doesn't make sense is the "selectivity" (i.e., randomness) of the problem. For example: We have a daily recording of the Today show and in the evening, NBC News. When we get around to watching the morning show several hours later, we might get a playback error (about a 50-50 chance), yet, anytime this error occurs, I can open YT TV on my phone and have NO PROBLEMS watching the same recording!
Something else I've noted lately... the option to "view from beginning" seems to be MISSING. And the reason we noticed this is because when we open a program that's in progress, we can't back up to the beginning AND, the "Start from Beginning" selection is not there!
The device is a ROKU Ultra (up to date FW) and the Network connection is always 15mbps or higher.

We recommend contacting Youtube TV directly to follow up for more help. They’ll be able to best assist with any issues and functionality inquiries. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.
