This concerns my Streaming stick 4K on a Samsung TV and I am using the YouTube TV app. The Roku power saving option is turned off. When I pause a live program for just a few minutes, I can continue to watch by pressing pause again. However, if I wait too long (10+ minutes, I have not narrowed this down), when I unpause to resume watching, I find myself outside of YouTube TV completely. While YouTube TV says there is no time limit on pausing a live program, something in the Roku thinks there is. What is going on with this? Streaming movies on Netflix and Amazon seem to pause correctly for any amount of time, but these do not use a "virtual DVR" like YouTube TV.
