Paramount Plus error message "An error occurred during playback"

Same issue others are posting. Around the time of the commercials the playback pauses and error message with no numbers. Makes watching series on paramount plus unwatchable.  Happens on all my Roku t...

    My paramount+ shuts off at the end of a commercial. The error message says some thing went wrong try again later. This happens on the 1923 show.

Thanks for posting in the Roku Community!

We appreciate you letting us know that you are getting an error message on your Paramount Plus app when you are streaming the 1923 show. No worries, help is here.

We would like to know if you have tried playing other content besides the 1923 show to see if the same issue occurs. If you haven’t, we recommend checking other content and also the other application.

In either case, we suggest you try the following:

Restart your Roku device:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
  5. Select System restart
