Paramount Plus: content you are trying to play is unavailable

Whenever I attempt to play Paramount + I get the following error on all content: "The content you are trying to play is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

Here is what I have done to try and resolve but with no success:

  1. Restart the Roku from Settings > System > System Restart > Restart
  2. Unplugged Roku for 5 minutes
  3. Update software from Settings > System > System Update > No updates available
  4. Uninstall the Channel, Restart (using Settings > System Restart > Restart), Unplugged after restart (for 5 minutes), and then Reinstall channel
  5. Reset network connection using Settings > System > Advanced System Settings > Network connection reset > Reset connection

I have not tried a factory reset because then I will have to login in to all my working channels...ugh...

Details regarding my Roku Premiere+ :

  • Software Version: 10.5.0
  • Build: 4201
  • Serial Number: 7KA69C144643
  • Model: 4630X
  • All other channels are working (Disney+, Netflix, ESPN, Amazon Prime)

Thanks for letting us know all that you've done. 

Could you provide us a tracker ID? When the issue occurs, just press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times. 

Moreover, since you have tried all the possible troubleshooting steps but the issue persists on one channel, contact the channel's customer support team to report the issue and get help. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves. There's likely an issue within Paramount Plus that needs to be addressed with an update from therm.
