Same prob. Unplugging and replugging in does work --- BUT NOW I HAVE TO DO IT EVERYTIME I GO TO USE THE ROKU.

This update is HORRIFIC!! Now every single time I go to use the Roku, I have to unplug it from my tv for it to reset. What is so difficult about Roku fixing this issue that hundreds if not thousands of people are having?!? It’s been a week and a half of this **bleep** and if it doesn’t get fixed I’m going to another brand because Roku obviously isn’t responding to the problem.
Also I think it’s ridiculous that the word c*ap was bleeped out in my above comment, it’s not even a bad word. Roku goes overboard on this type of thing apparently, and still can’t fix the 10.5 update on the Home Screen since the update happened 10 days ago. Get it together, stop focusing on policing “bad” words, and have the engineers fix this.

I tried what you said and mine is still frozen
The screen is stuck on the 10.5 update asking to choose “see what’s new” or no thanks.” Neither the remote or the remote in my phone work.
