[OS 10.5] Roku Ultra always has to be unplugged/plugged back in to work

Just got the Roku Ultra and using it with a wired ethernet connection and using the supplied power supply.  When I attempt to use it, it always needs to be unplugged/plugged in for it to work.

I have 2 of these units and both do the same thing.  Any ideas?

Re: Roku Ultra always has to be unplugged/plugged back in to work

There have been a few "Ultra" models over the years, so just to be sure what's the model number from Settings->System->About?  While you're there, what's the software version?

It's the current Ultra model being sold  4800x

I just bought 2 of them and they both are doing this

The software is 10.5.0 build 4191-C2 and when I run the update, it says there are no new updates

Re: Roku Ultra always has to be unplugged/plugged back in to work

On some Roku models, Roku 10.5 introduced some new power management options via menu path Settings > System > Power.  My Streaming Stick 3600 is the only one here that has received Roku 10.5 so far and it did not get the power management options, so I'm lacking details.  I believe there is a setting there that will prevent your Ultra from powering down.

I changed the power management setting and it appears to working normally now.

Thanks very much
