No sound on many mkv files

Seems like this issue has been going on for years.  I now have a 2021 roku ultra, and the same thing.   No sound for many of these tv shows, etc.  

How has this not been addressed yet?    I bought this specifically hoping it would handle this 8 years later.  

I suggest everyone give lower ratings where they bought it (amazon etc) until they finally take notice.  Maybe if we vote with our dollars they will prioritize it.

@dborosev, good luck, but Roku has never shown much interest in the apparently very small segment of people that want to stream their own files.  I sincerely doubt it's ever going to change.

I ended up finding a way around it, using PLEX.  Works great, and I don't have to rely on Roku's bad audio support.

At least Roku supports the PLEX app.
