I have a ACL smart tv and a Sony STR1080DN AV 7.2 system. I watch mostly old stuff on YouTube TV and YouTube. I know the sound quality back then was not what is it today but when cycling through all the sound selections on the av system its all like direct. There is no enhancement. So, you would think its the av system? I'll switch to Netflix or Disney or Amazon and get dolby atmos perfectly. Sony says i should at least get multi channel on a old mono recording where sound is piped equally through all speakers but what i get is direct and only through the front L/R speakers. Sony says it will repair the unit under warranty but i am suspicious that this could be a roku issue or google YouTube app problem. Any ideas?
