I just got a new Roku Ultra, not the LT, and for some reason it will not recognize HDR on the olympic channels on Fubo tv. It works fine on Netflix so I don't get why. I have a Benq TK-850 4k projector and it worked fine with the Express 4K but when I installed the Ultra I could not get it to recognize HDR on Fubo. I checked and re-checked the settings and it seems to be set up correctly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom.
Functionality of each channel is controlled solely by the channel provider. It's possible the Fubo channel doesn't offer HDR, or at least not on Roku devices. Only Fubo can change that, so they are who you should contact. Yes, sometimes the same channel on different Roku devices have different versions and functionality. For example, the Ultra 4800 supports Dolby Atmos audio on Netflix, but no other Roku does.
Thanks for the reply. I was getting HDR 10 on Fubo tv just fine when using the Roku 4k plus but when I switched to the Roku Ultra it stopped working on Fubo tv. It still works fine on Netflix but not on Fubo. I have checked all the settings and also did a reboot but to no avail.
I swapped out the Ultra for a new one at BB and still I cannot stream 4k HDR10 on Fubo tv. I connected my Roku Premier that I replaced with the Ultra and it streams 4k on Fubo just fine. I just don't get why the Ultra streams 4k HDR on all other platforms I use but not on Fubo. Frustrating....Tom.

The Express 4K/4K+ support NetFlix Atmos.
Thanks @StreamerUser I didn't realize they added it to that new player. I use mine for traveling, so never connected to an Atmos-capable AVR. 🙂

1) Disable HDR always on: Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Advanced display settings/HDR always on=off - try again
2) Manually configure Display type: Settings/Display type=4K HDR TV - try again
3) Change HDR subsampling: Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Advanced display settings/HDR subsampling=4:2:0 or 4:2:2 - try again
4) Enable framerate matching: Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Advanced display settings/Auto-adjust display refresh rate=enable (or disable if enabled) - try again

Yes, and its without a Dolby decoder - akin to what the GCCWGTV offers for NF (DV and DA), which also doesnt have a Dolby decoder (so NF Atmos for $30-35).
