News 12 unable to play video stream

My News 12 app keeps saying unable to play video stream. 

Player:only one playing instance supported. Error -5

Does anyone know what this means? Is anyone having the same problem?

Thanks for reporting this. We see that you're having a playback issue with the app, and we're here to sort this out for you!

Is this happening on all contents inside the channel? If so, here's a quick fix you might try.

  1. Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press Star to open the Options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
  2. Restart your Roku device: Go to Settings > System > Power > System restart > Restart Now.
  3. Re-install the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Streaming Store and add the channel again.
