NUMEROUS problems with ALL my Rokus

Over the past several months, our Rokus have been having numerous problems. Most appear to be playback related. I've tried to post here for one of my problems and got help but they turned it over to the service team and I haven't heard a thing in a week. Meanwhile, we're getting more and more problems. Hubby is getting frustrated and ready to throw them out and find something else! I'm just CERTAIN there's an answer somewhere - especially since BOTH of our Rokus are doing the same thing. (We did have 3 Rokus but one completely died and we threw it out. We replaced it with a Firestick which isn't as good as a Roku but it's far better than what we have now). Here's my original post plus the problems that have happened later.

All my Rokus keep going back to home screen

I'm having a problem. My Roku won't interrupt if we're watching a movie, but if we set it on pause or the movie ends and we leave it on the channel, after about 15-20 minutes it will go back to the home screen. It didn't used to do that. I'm wondering if it's something in a new update and if so, how can I turn it off??

We had 3 Rokus - all plugged into outlets. When we press pause, it used to stay paused until we returned - even a day later. But then one of our Rokus started going back to the home screen several months ago (model 3600RW). We couldn't figure out why - we hadn't changed anything. It's extremely annoying because to get back to the movie we were watching, we not only have to reload the channel but depending on which channel, we might even have to find the movie again AND go find how far we'd gotten into the movie. About a month later, our second Roku started doing this too (model 3910RW). And a few weeks later, our third caved into the peer pressure (model 3900X).

Rokus not responding to remote clicks. Also movies are freezing, going, freezing, going.

Both Rokus are now not responding to remote clicks for 15+ seconds. Around the same time, the movie is freezing, going, freezing, going. So far, we can unplug the Roku and plug it in and it works fine… for a day or two.

Roku died

Roku died (model 3600RW) started flickering as if power were flickering. Unplugging it, restarting it, etc. didn’t help. Since it had other problems with it (see above) we gave up and threw it out.

Re: NUMEROUS problems with ALL my Rokus

They reached out to me on just one of these problems, and without any understanding of what I have said is going on.
