My NBC App stutters video and audio on my local (WRAL - Raleigh NC) channel. All other channels the app provides work fine. Other Apps (HGTV, CBS, ABC) work fine. I want to watch the Olympics so desperately looking for help. Thanks for your advice / ideas.
Troubleshooting so far but issue still persists:
Unlinked Verizon
Unistalled NBC
Restarted Roku
Re-installed
Re-linked
If the NBC app's local NBC affiliate stream isnt working well, you can always watch the Olympics other ways:
Home/2020 Tokyo Olympics/How to Watch: Peacock TV/NBC Sports/AT&T TV/Fubo TV/Hulu Live TV/Sling TV
Peacock TV has a free (with ads) tier, and most of the OTT providers have free trial periods (usually a week), including YouTube TV which also has 4K/HDR coverage (30 day free trial).
That doesnt include OTA which simply requires an antenna (connected to your TV of course).
Thanks for the reply and I will look at those options. But I also watch NBC regularly. Any thoughts on how to resolve the root cause of the issue?
You've done all the troubleshooting you reasonably can, and since all other content on the NBC app streams fine and all other apps stream fine, that leads to the stream itself - you should contact WRAL and NBC.
There is a WRAL app for Roku, you could always try that.
I'm not sure what happened but the Roku gods have made magic happen. It is now working fine. It was a problem for a week. If anyone did anything...thank you. If it is blind luck...I'll take it. Appreciate the responses and idea. THANK YOU!
