My apps will not play. It goes black then closes the app

Everytime I click on a app it tries to pull it up but the Then it goes to a black screen ad closes app someone please help?!?!

We understand you're having a problem with the channels on your Roku device since it goes to a black screen and closes by itself. We're happy to help.

Please try the troubleshooting steps below:

Restart your Roku device

  1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
  2. Scroll down and select Settings.
  3. Select System.
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step
  5. Select System restart.

Reset your Wi-Fi or router

You may need to reset your internet connection if you have trouble streaming content with your Roku device.

  1. Locate your internet router and reset it by doing the following:
    • Unplug it from its power source. Please wait 10 seconds, then plug it directly into a power outlet.
    • Press the Reset button on the bottom or back of the device and wait a few minutes, then try loading content on your Roku device again.n
  2. If you need help with this step, contact your internet service provider

We would recommend trying to see if that resolves your issue. Please keep us posted.
