My Roku Premier is overheating.

I tired to order the free HDMI extender, but it won't accept my SN number. I've followed all other steps and it continues to overheat.

@ashperry89, the extender is only for sticks that plug directly into a TV without the need for an HDMI cable.  It would accomplish absolutely nothing for a Premiere device.  If your device is still under warranty:

Otherwise, try a different USB power adapter and/or try setting your display type to 720p if it's set to Auto (1080p).  My experience has shown that once a device starts overheating there's not much that can be done to save it.
