My device has just stopped working. I have tried restarting, unplugging device. The device has restared twice on its own. All I get is a purple screen after restart. Restarting again on its own now. Any help with this?

Roku series and or films are blurred and take a long long time to even start, Then after 3 minutes of play- time the screen freezes and a 1% appears in screen center and takes a long long time to reach the point of the film starting again (all blurred) This lasts another 1-3 minutes before freezing and the same thing happens over and over. Called my internet provider who reset the internet. Unplugged everything and plugged in again. Provider said to call you. Can't because this isn't a billing question nor is it a new set up.Feel as if my problem cannot be addressed by you but wish it could. Please help. I've used my roku and tv for 3 years so far with no problems. Have a HD tv. Roku no longer has anything HD and this is disappointing. Surely there is someone to help? I don't happen to be a person who can learn from technical directions. I want to speak to someone.
I have the same problem 55 inch TCL stopped working off and on with a purple color and dark to a black color. I've tried it all. Can't turn it off. Remote or manually. It comes right back on manually. What to do????
