Latest update issues with sound

Since the latest update I am having issues with sound, actually the lack there if on some feeds/streams.

Is there an expected fix for this?

Thanks for the post.

Can you please specify the issue you are experiencing? Please provide us the following information:
-Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing

With more detailed information, we will be able to assist you further.

Hello.

Since the last update from 10 to 10.5 SOME of my streaming has zero audio or some channels/movies have Zero audio when it was working perfectly before the update.

I've even update dated each channel to no availe including my Roksbox for dropbox which is now having no audio on some movies or not playing some movies at all!

Hi @DragonStormwolf,

Thanks for the follow-up.

Just to verify, have tried removing the channel that you are experiencing the issue with from the Roku home screen. Then, disconnect your device from power for a minute. Plug it back in, then try to add the channel back once more and see if this clears up the issue. 

If this issue is not resolved, please let us know along with any additional information such as Which streaming channels or specific content you are experiencing this issue with. In addition, please provide the tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times).

I have removed all services one at a time and followed the power cycle as above. No change.

I have removed all channels then replaced after power cycle as above no change.

Services effected.
Disney+
Hulu
Paramount+
ESPN
Prime video(amazon)
Vudu 
Roksbox for drop box
Tubi
Pluto Tv

THE ISSUE IS RANDOM, OR No audio at all.

On Roksbox for dropbox it will either be no audio on stored movies ir will not play some movies at all.

These issues were not a thing before the 10.5.0 update on any of the services.

Ive checked the services on my phone and tablet and My Ladies phone no such issues.

If I could afford to buy a brand new Roku I would but see they are having same issues now too. Id switch to Firestick or something but that too is an expense I can not afford.

The button 5 times thing doesn't bring up any code

Thanks for the post.

Can you provide more information about the issue you are experiencing? How is your device connected? Are there any external audio devices connected in your setup?

In addition, can you please provide us with examples of the content that you see this issue occur with along with the tracker ID when it occurs?

I've provided all this already. The only thing not provided is the code. I'm not getting any codes

This is now just time wasting in a circle.

Fix the update already!
