Kicked out of HBO, Netflix etc. - Roku Soundbar Pro

Having trouble with Youtube, HBO, Netflix (and perhaps others)

Navigate to channel
select show/video
a few seconds in get kicked out and back to the homescreen

to fix - I need  go thru a soft reset process 
Press the Home button five times, Rewind button two times, and Fast Forward button two times. 

doing a factory reset also addresses it.

However, the next day, I have to do the same progress.  The TV is used about 1 hour per night and Roku is left on/TV off for the unused 23 hours.


also (2nd issue) - screen goes black for a few seconds a couple of times per hour.  I believe the sound continues - hard to tell.

Ideas?
