@boydtodda, I believe Roku has said all they're going to say about this issue and they have no plans to fix it. See the Tablo forum for more information.
Edit: I just got an email from Tablo:
https://community.tablotv.com/t/new-tablo-4th-gen-only-firmware-release-2-2-54/39192
I have 3 Roku's and Tablo does not work on 2 of the TV's. I did contact Tablo's customer service 2 months ago and gave the the ID and serial numbers and still they don't have a fix. They worked fine for about 4 months then stopped.
@Sarge715, did you follow the link I posted above? My Tablo received the update today, but I never had the problem (with multiple Roku devices on multiple TVs), so I can't say if it fixed it or not.
I received the fix yesterday after reporting the problem two months ago. Everything works fine now. You should go to the Tablo troubleshooting website. They explain things in detail.
Tablo sent a notification yesterday that they have a Firmware update that will allow you to change your audio settings to stereo sound without surround sound. This change will allow Roku users to watch live TV and recordings on the Tablo app in stereo but you won't be able to use it with surround sound. Unfortunately Tablo has decided to rollout the update 2.2.54 to only a few users at a time. So far the update is not available to me. My app reports that no updates are available. Tablo didn't give a time frame that it will take for this to be available to all users. In the meantime most of us will have to wait further. Firmware 2.2.52 doesn't allow the change to be performed. I'm still having to use Amazon Fire Stick which works fine. Tablo has said that communication with Roku confirms that Roku will not make any fixes so we'll just need to wait for the Tablo update.
