@R_Manoula @Tony14 @Efstathia26 @DionDelazante77 I found a better roku channel for greek content. Total Greek Live TV & Radio Seems legit and IMO much better than the other greek channels.

Also ERT1 ERT2 ERT3 are geoblocked to only Greece IP's. and some stations will block their live streams for certain programs/shows when they don't have broadcast rights for outside greece, so be aware of that.

Re: Help! Greek TV channel Inactive after subscribing

Jump to solution

So the frustration continues.  I specifically purchased a Roku stick to help my elderly infirm mother have some distraction from her discomfort by being able to engage in some Greek TV.  I have tried all the methods of adding The Greek TV Channel, paying 1.99 to subscribe with a constant message of "Channel Inactive" - I have since removed the channel, done a restart and the same thing happens over and over again.  However my brother-in-law and friends who have had accessed to the channel via a Roku stick for ages seem to have no problem logging in??

Has the developer changed the permissions or parameters for new registrants to not allow access??

Whilst I understand each channel is independently run I think it is also in the interests of Roku to collaborate with said developers and establish connections to the advertised accessible channels as it then somehow leaves Roku misrepresenting or misselling a product when it actually does not do what it says on the tin.

My parents are quite upset that they cannot access this and I am beyond frustrated for them.

On behalf of consumers as myself can somebody at Roku contact the Channel providers on our behalf and actually take some action to rectify this persistent problem instead of advising the customer to chase the channel and contact them, as I have previously to no avail and where no response is forthcoming.

This ultimately does reflect back to Roku and I can't see how this helps positive feedback for sales.

Please deal with this and provide us all with answers and a way to access this channel.

@Andrea1710 I've also felt your pain and went with Total Greek for the same sub amount and IMO a much better channel.

Thank you for the suggestion which I will try.  However, I still expect Roku to be more proactive in addressing this ongoing issue!!

I can understand your frustration, but I don't think Roku is responsible for a channel creators issues. My understanding is that if the channel meets their certification process it gets published. From there on out if there is an issue with a channels functionality it's between the user and the channel creator.
