Solving playback issues

For the past two to three months certain channels like CNN, USA, ESPN, TNT, TBS, March Madness will sign me out of the channel and I have to go to the settings and log out and log back in. I never had to do this before. However, when I go to authenticate with DirecTV from code on my screen in Roku, I now rarely have to enter in my password. Its like I select my cable provider and it just goes from there.....its great on that part but annoying to constantly have to login.

I have 3 roku devices in my house and it doesn't matter which one I'm on. It will prompt me to re-login.

I don't have this problem on any other app like Netflix, Hulu, Disney, Paramount+, YouTube, Apple, Amazon, HBO, etc.

I've cleared cookies on my device and even login using a laptop instead of my phone.

It never did this previously--perhaps once in a great while, but now its an annoying step everytime I want to view any of these channels.

I searched posts before posting, so apologize in advance for any duplicate posting.

Please be aware that certain channels may ask you to re-authenticate the channel from time to time to ensure that you have the appropriate credentials and authorization for that channel.

If you are still experiencing an issue with authenticating the channels often, you'll want to contact the channel providers' support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.
