I know there are lots of pages regarding HDCP errors, but I do not see any recent ones.
I have 2 Roku devices. One in my living room (Ultra) and one on my bedroom tv (Express). They were both working like champs until a few days ago...........Maybe there was an update done? Now my Express unit is displaying the dreaded HDCP error. I changed out the boxes and cables and both boxes on that same TV show the same error. I have tried both connections, followed the troubleshooting guide etc. Nothing. My bedroom TV is pretty old....possible issue? Any thoughts would be appreciated!
They may have upgraded to OS10 (Settings/System/About).
Otherwise, report this directly to Roku:
chat or email: https://support.roku.com/contactus/contact-options (choose setup/ultra/other/need more help?)
Settings/System/System update will show you both the installed software version and when it was installed so you can see if that is when the problem began.
I see what software version is installed but I do not see a way to roll it back.

The method is explained in the second sentence of my previous post - use the buttons on your remote.

But this method relies on the previous version still being available to install. Based on the number of people saying they were updated on 5/12-14 (including me on all 3 installed units) I' m guessing they've finished the version 10 gradual roll out, have now pushed it to everybody, and have probably taken version 9.4 off the table..
I am having the same issue with my Insignia NS-24L240A13 and my Roku Express (3900 series) I realize this is an older TV, but only between 10 and 15 years. Followed the instructions both for reset on screen and roll back on here. No roll back option and the reboot didn't work. Getting somewhat desperate.
