Freezes then goes to home screen.

I will be in the middle of watching something.  The ROKU TLC tv, tv with the built in Roku, freezes up, starts blinking, and goes to home screen.  It is not a cable because the Roku is built in, a factory reset does not help because I have done it, I have rebooted it.  Software is up to date.  Just level with me, is it because of how it was made and the quality of the parts for the reason it is messing up so soon? It is 3 years old, does your tvs just last e years?
