Following the recent update, I am unable to view any of my apps from the Roku home screen.

I have an older streaming stick (3400x). Turned on tv following the most recent update and cannot view apps from the Roku home screen. If I click "OK" on the remote it brings me to various channels, but I can't see the apps and have no way to select the one I want! I know I'm connected because I can access Amazon, etc. by pressing those specific buttons on my remote. Bur I cannot see any of the apps, and I can't access settings because I can't even see my selections. Is anyone else having this issue and what can I do about it?
