I seem to have a similar problem.
Been using a Roku Express + for years, and had a Toshiba Fire Edition tv since last year. Connected with HDMI.
Yesterday the Roku stopped working, I get a black screen. (But the sound does seem to be working.)
The interface doesn’t even come up.
Checked cords, unplugged, factory reset- each time, same:
the Roku Letters are jumping for a bit, then goes black.
P.S. This tv won’t let you select a resolution, it’s just “native”, “full screen”, “wide 1”, etc
