Error 020

I keep getting error 020,  tried everything it says on the screen, tried changing ports, still same issues. Starts to retrieve but then error pops up again. Starting to think this roku is a joke

What you are seeing is a HDCP error. For troubleshooting steps with that issue, visit our Support page here: What should I do if I see a “HDCP Error Detected” message or a purple screen?

Thanks for the post.

Can you please provide more information about the issue you are experiencing? Have you tried using another HMDI cable a well as using another HDMI port on your TV?

For troubleshooting purposes, have you tried connecting your Roku device to another TV to see if you are experiencing the same issue?

I have done what support suggested and still have error 020 displaying

Can you please provide more information about the issue you are experiencing?

-what Roku model are you using?
-what is your TV resolution is?
-when did you start to see this issue occur? Did this only start with OS 11.0 or is this a brand new device?
