It could be the receiver. It sounds like an HDMI handshaking issue. Have you looked for any firmware updates for the receiver? You might want to try a different HDMI cable as well.
I tried other Hdmi issues and my other devices work fine with the reciever. I called denon the reciever manufacturer and they said sounds like an handshake issue is there a fix?
Perhaps @RokuDanny-R knows if there are any known issues with that receiver.
I turned of standby and auto power saving and now I'm not having the issue weird has to be coincidence right? I was just trying different settings.
Thanks for the post.
If you connect your Roku device directly to your TV, are you experiencing the same issue?
If you are unable to resolve the issue, can you please provide us the following information:
-Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing
Once we have more information, we will be able to investigate further.
Thanks,
Danny
