Set up new Roku Premiere player. Everything is fine except the wallpaper and SOME of the channel icons are distorted. It is difficult to read some of the channel descriptions and schedules on Slingtv are very difficult to read. Video and audio seem fine. Display is set up at autodetect (1080).
Any thoughts on how to correct this?
Thanks for the post.
Can you please provide a screenshot of the issue you are seeing so we can better understand the issue? Is this issue happening specifically on the Home screen or on a certain channel?
With more information we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,
Danny
Thanks for your reply. The distorted wallpaper and/or icons occurs on the home screen and on many of the individual channels, but not all of them. For instance, it occurs on SlingTV and Movie Store by Fandango but it does not occur on ESPN.
I have screenshots but cannot figure out how to attach them. Selecting the camera icon requests a source and dimensions and I don't know what to enter as the source. All I know is I have the screenshots on my phone's camera roll. How do I attach the images to my reply?
Thanks.
Never mind about the image uploader issue. It works after I logged into my Roku account first.
Try to clear the cache - press Home 5 times, Rewind (<<) twice, and FF (>>) twice. Your Roku will reboot on its own.
Sequence provided did not appear to reboot Roku. Tried 5 times.
I restarted Roku from menu with no effect. Problem persists.
So sorry; I left out a button. It should have been Home 5 times, Up once, Rewind (<<) twice, FF (>>) twice.
Sorry about that!
No problem. I rebooted twice per your instructions but problem persists.
Maybe try to Change your Display Manually. First Select 720p, System Restart, then try the 1080 again.
Settings...Display Type...720p (if looks good select yes) and then proceed w/ restart.
This may sync everything up for you.
I tried what you suggested. Looked bad at 720p also. I did a reboot at 720 and 1080. No improvement.
