Disney Plus picture is stretched and set to normal

When trying to watch Disney Plus no matter what show I watch my picture is stretched. This doesn’t happen on Netflix or other channels just this one. Also I have the picture mode on normal and changing it from normal only makes it worse. I can fix it if I reset the tv but that includes setting up everything again. And I literally just did that. Also one other symptom happens when watching anything on my desktop computer and that is the tv will flash when going into and coming out of full screen. I have tried to uninstall Disney Plus and reinstall to no avail.

@Dartanion

Thanks for the post.

When removing a channel, please make sure that you are restarting your Roku device before adding the channel back again.

If you are still experiencing an issue and its only occurring on the Disney+ channel, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

You can reach Disney+ support here: https://help.disneyplus.com/csp

Thanks,
Danny

With a Roku TV, turning the tv power off and back on does not give you a full restart.  For this you need to either:

  • Pull the power plug for a few seconds then plug it back in, or
  • Use menu path Settings > System > Power > System restart.
