Deleted and reinstalled, rebooted.
I can confirm that pausing for a few seconds during the ads seems to allow it to continue properly as does exiting during the ad.
Pausing works, hope they get it fixed. It's just failing to resume from ad insertion.

Same identical issue here. I’ve tried all the solutions mentioned yet none of the rebooting corrected it.
It’s bothersome that we purchase products intended for streaming, pay for subscription streaming services and cannot even seem to get through one set of ads - which lets face it, none of us want but understand why the exist. Not impressed with Roku or Disney plus —- this doesn’t happen with my Netflix … it doesn’t even happen with Hulu within the same subscription!

I am having these same issues, haven't noticed it recently but haven't watched many movies lately. Please tell me there is a fix coming?
