I'm another frustrated Roku customer with this problem. I just got everything working yesterday (11/1) and everything seemed great. Should I Not have turned the tv off last night?? When I turned it on today I'm back to a blue screen of death. I just disconnected the cable today and returned it to cox. My wifi streaming router is working perfectly and is recognizing the Roku device. I've reset the Roku Express box a few times, turned the tv on/off several times, checked everything I can think of but still have a lovely blue screen. JUST today i cut the cord with cable, and just today the Roku isn't working. Per your earlier post, my serial number is: S07R514N7AFL Please help!

@ibdashnn, a blue screen has nothing to do with the subject of this thread. Make sure you're using the supplied power adapter and not your TV's USB port. Try another HDMI cable. If neither of those works start a new thread. Wi-Fi is not your issue.
@renojim You didn't read my whole statement. I have a blue screen because the Roku won't talk to the tv therefore the tv is not receiving a signal from the Roku. I AM using the supplied power adapter, the tv does Not Have a USB port, and I'm using the supplied HDMI cable. I did Not say wi-fi was the issue. the Roku is the issue.
it might say "Newby" by my screen name but with 30+ years of engineering experience, I am NOT a newby with technology. so being snarky is inappropriate and unappreciated.
the wifi router is recognizing the Roku but the Roku isn't responding back nor sending a signal to the tv. this Roku Express is also wifi. the Roku comes on and overheats and shuts off in abt 20 mins and stops sending a signal to the tv, thus the blue screen. so it doesn't transmit anything. many other people seem to be having the same issue starting about Tuesday, so it seems there may be something going on with this Roku Express wifi device.
