Ok, today (10-01-2022) started looking at Crackle at a Sherlock Holmes movie and after an ad or in the middle of the movie Roku reboots itself and puts me back at the home screen. I am using Roku Premier. Did not find anything similar when I searched. The system is up to date as well as the channels.
What is the firmware version? Settings/System/About
The software version is 11.0.0 build 4193-29
Now on Fox channel (local channel 7) I choose it will keep popping up the channel is temporary not available and it then reverts to the channel after 5 minutes (good download speed of 33mbps) on wifi
Hi @riddlegrad
Thanks for the post.
Could you tell us how are you powering your Roku device? Is it connected to the USB port of the TV or to a wall outlet? In some cases, the USB power provided by the TV is not sufficient to power the device. Even though your Roku device may appear to be working, running with insufficient power can lead to instability, crashing, and other unpredictable behavior.
Using the included power cord and power adapter, we suggest plugging your Roku into a working power outlet in the wall. Powering it through a power outlet in the wall has the additional advantage that your Roku player will not need to power up every time you turn on your TV. This means your Roku player will be up and running faster than it would be connected to a TV.
Let us know if there's any difference after.
All the best,
Kariza
Thanks for the response it's powered to the wall outlet using the supplied power cord. never through the TV.
Thanks for the reply.
In some cases, removing the affected channel and then reinstalling them helps. To ensure the process is successful, restart your device before adding the channel back in. We would recommend doing this from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.
For detailed instructions, refer to this Support link: How do I resolve channel playback issues?
Keep us posted!
All the best,

Hi @Western,
Welcome to the Roku Community.
We're here to help. Have you tried the suggested above by @RokuKariza-D? Removing the affected channel and reinstalling might help resolve the issue. If the issue continues to persist, I kindly request that you respond with any further information you may have. For instance, if you encounter any error message or code. If the issue only arises on a particular channel or across all channels on your Roku device. Additionally, what other troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to try to resolve the issue?
We would greatly appreciate it if you keep us updated on the situation.
Regards,
Nimfa
