I have a Roku TV that does not have sound leveling options. My commercials on the Roku channel play way louder than the normal program. It wakes up the family and it is EXTREMLY ANOYING TO HAVE THE COMMERCIALS PLAY AT ALMOST THREE TIMES THE VOLUME AS THE SHOW!
I HAVE REACHED OUT TO ROKU HELP FOUR TIMES. They insist that the provider of the channel is responsible, not Roku. But watching the Roku channel on the Roku TV, who is the provider of the Roku channel that could help me? I have yet to get an answer to that one.
I have reset the system. I have removed the channel, did a system restart, and added the channel back in. I have given them every number off of the system. Updated, rebooted, reloaded. But it always comes back to the same final line "At this instance, It looks like an internal issue within the channel. We would like to inform you that,
Each channel (app) on the Roku platform is built and maintained by the channel provider directly.
So, We recommend you to contact the channel provider directly.
They’ll have more information and better insight into their channel to continue assisting you with resolving that issue"
Any idea where I can go to find who this is?
Does this not help? Settings > Audio > Volume mode > Leveling

I am stuck in the same circle as I was a few months ago. The Roku help desk emails me;
At this instance, It looks like an internal issue within the channel. We would like to inform you that,
Each channel (app) on the Roku platform is built and maintained by the channel provider directly.
So, We recommend you to contact the channel provider directly.

I tell them that this is the Roku channel and ask who the provider is that I can talk to about the Roku channel?
They reply; At this instance, It looks like an internal issue within the channel. We would like to inform you that,
Each channel (app) on the Roku platform is built and maintained by the channel provider directly.
So, We recommend you to contact the channel provider directly.

I word it differently but let them know that I am asking about the Roku channel and since they are the Roku help desk, can they help me?
They replied again; At this instance, It looks like an internal issue within the channel. We would like to inform you that,
Each channel (app) on the Roku platform is built and maintained by the channel provider directly.

I am playing this one out. Maybe they will see enough responses to actually reply and not give me the auto reply?
But where do I go from here?
No, my TV does not have the leveling option.
My tv does not have the leveling options. I have verified that with Roku tech support. So they then say that I need to contact the channel provider.
They are Roku Support. If they are not the provider of the Roku channel then who is?
i have replied to them with that question 12 times. Then they reply back that I need to contact the channel provider.
very frustrating and not getting any where. What else can I do?
Much of the content on The Roku Channel is actually curated content. That is, for much content, The Roku Channel is simply a bunch of menus/links that launch content from other sources, many times (but certainly not always) from Filmrise. Filmrise is the content provider in those cases.
There are other sources for content too.

Just to be clear, I know that we can add a bunch of channels to a Roku TV. But we are talking about the one specific channel called 'The Roku Channel', not a different channel added to the TV.
So if on the home screen I click the Roku Channel you are telling me that each program on the specific Roku Channel link is independently owned by other providers?
Then how do I find the provider for individual shows on the Roku Channel? I have a long list of individual shows that have this issue with the commercials playing SIGNIFICANTLY LOUDER THAN THE PROGRAM. It seems like the channel and not the individual show. But I am willing to contact each program on the Roku Channel if needed. But I need help finding the provider for each program on the Roku Channel.
Instead I just keep getting the reply to contact the channel provider, over, and over, and over...
