All you have to do is play a video (music or film) from iTunes for Windows. The screen will go haywire - by that I mean thousands of colored vertical stripes that have a ghost of the video behind them. If you are lucky enough to see the X to close the Window, or can close iTunes the display recovers.

I've made sure all drivers and Windows updates are applied. Most recent version of iTunes (12.12.6.1) is installed. I can play video from any other source - Youtube, local file etc.

I still have this problem. I should add though that the video is playing fine on the associated laptop screen the whole time. Just when the output is to the Roku TCL.

Are you trying to play iTunes from a Laptop/Computer that is plugged into your TCL TV via HDMI?

If so, it could be a resolution problem that needs adjusted on your computer.

Yes, Roku TV is connected to laptop via HDMI. No, toying with Windows video resolution did not make a difference unfortunately.

Try rolling your Video drivers back to an older version. You mentioned you updated your drivers. What process did you use to update your video drivers?
