Blank screen after I hit any button

My Roku Ultra worked flawlessly for months until 2 days ago.  Now, everything powers on, a menu pops up, and when I hit any button on my remote, I get a blank screen.  The same thing happens when I use our universal remote or the app on my phone.  I tried a full reset and it is still happening in the set up menu.  I hit any button to continue my set up and get a blank screen.  I have to power everything down and turn on again and then I get one click and a blank screen.  Help please!!  I tried searching but couldn’t find a solution for this problem.  Apologies if someone has posted a solution already.

You said you did a factory reset. Did you hold the reset button for at least 30 seconds. That's critical, and not very apparent unless explicitly told. So, I'm telling.

If you didn't do it that way, try it that way and let us know if that resolves it.

Yes I held it for 30 seconds and I know it has reset because it wants me to enter my email for a code.   Unfortunately, as soon as I try, I get the blank screen.
