Black screen with sound when playing a video or movie on any apps

My roku any time i try to play a video or movie has a black screen with sound. It doesnt matter what apps i use for it. It was bought a month ago and the last couple weeks we've had this issue. I reset it and redid the remote and logged back into all my apps and it worked for a day and after that has been back to a black screen with sound. Any one know how i can fix this issue?

Try a different HDMI cable, a different HDMI input on your TV, or a different TV altogether.

You can also try manually configuring Settings/Display type=720p or 1080p (dont use Auto-detect).
