Audio continues

I installed a Streaming Stick (headphone edition).  When I shut off the Roku remote, audio continues the headphones. How do I correct this. Why is it happening?

I'm guessing you are shutting off the TV.

Some Roku remotes have a button to shut off the TV, but that's all that button does.  Rokus and their remotes (or any remote I can think of) don't shut off.

If you want to stop whatever your Roku is doing, press the home button.

Some Roku remotes have a button to shut off the TV, but that's all that button does.  Rokus and their remotes (or any remote I can think of) don't shut off.

If you want to stop whatever your Roku is doing, press the home button.
